+Team Smudge
I've got in a muddle logging a couple of geocoins, and have logged that I dropped off one in the wrong cache. I don't have the serial number any more so can't grab it to drop it off in the right cache, and can't find a way to delete the entry. The owner of the geocoin is in Denmark, so emailing them asking for the serial number might be problematic. Any ideas? Many thanks, Team Smudge Quote Link to comment

Try emailing the owner, but if you cant get anywhere then leave it. The next finder will be able to correct your muddle, what i would do is watch the cache in question and when the next finder grabs the coin you could ask them for the number! or just let them "grab it from elsewhere". it should all come out in the wash. +baggy_blackhams
You could write a note - against the geocoin itself and the cache it should be in (and the one it's listed at but not actually in). You don't need know the tracking number to write a note - that's how I've informed owners that their TBs have gone AWOL. Hopefully, someone will grab it from you soon when they find it in a cache and everything will turn out just fine. baggy_blackhams p.s. nice tent btw (we have a bell but no bunting) Quote Link to comment
