I just installed it using the Garmin updater on their website. Took about 10 minutes start to finish. Read the instructions carefully, as it says to wait for the device to restart on its own, or you can damage it. But there is an asterik next to it, and it says at the bottom for Oregon's to power it on yourself. Everything seems to be working fine so far. Five day road trip coming up, we'll see what happens.

Thanks for all the info, I'll update soon. Does anyone know if I can change the font size on the Oregon to make cache descriptions larger? Or can I change it to all caps? Thanks for any info.

OK, I give up, how do you: Added estimation of the number of remaining photos that the unit can take?

I was hoping for my GPX files to be on the SD card.....DRAT!

This post on Orgon wiki reports "Another bug which was fixed: Waypoints, Routes and Caches (GPX Files) can be stored on the SD Card now as well."
