+MysterySolvers6
I can't seem to figure out what makes my GPS go from a white background to a black. I'm not talking about backlighting it because I can make it do that. But many times when we're out and moving around screens the white background of the screen becomes black when we use certain buttons. Just wondering if anyone knows how to get it to turn back to white again? or what we're hitting that makes it go to a black background? Quote Link to comment

Sounds like it is going from "day" mode into "night" mode Quote Link to comment
+MysterySolvers6
Didn't realize it had day/night mode. Guess i'll go back to the 'sigh' manual and make sure the times are set right. Quote Link to comment
+spektrum2
Didn't realize it had day/night mode. Guess i'll go back to the 'sigh' manual and make sure the times are set right. If you go to setup>display>display mode there also 3 options there as well, daytime, nightime and auto. lol.....its getting dark here now and mines plugged into the pc and it just switched to the night screen so we know auto works hehe Edited August 31, 2009 by spektrum2 Quote Link to comment
sagc
I wish there was an option to compensate for dusk and dawn when in auto mode. It's usually still light when it switches from day to night mode and similar for night to day. An offset setting in minutes would work. Quote Link to comment
