+Jonovich
Any guesses when the first GC2 cache will be published? Already up around GC1XXXX EDIT - just tried working it out and I maybe jumping the gun quite a bit.... 36*36*36*36=1679616 for the Y's, and then again for all the Z's so is that over 3359232 to go? Is my maths right? Are all letters used or are some like I's and O's dropped to avoid confusion? J Edited August 30, 2009 by Dakar4x4 Quote Link to comment
+HouseOfDragons
I have no idea but I think you need to get out in the fresh air Quote Link to comment
+Stuey
Seems way too high.... What about: GC1Yxxx's should give you approx 34*34*34 and the same for the GC1Zxxx's so maybe it's 2*34*34*34 = 78608 which sounds more like it (plus whatever is left before we get to GC1Y111). I'm not sure whether they leave other gaps though. Quote Link to comment
+carmant
I actually found out the other day that O and 0 ("oh" and "zero") are completely interchangeable. It doesnt matter which one you use, they both bring the same cache up. Quote Link to comment

ginger_4x4
Please forgive my mate Dakar4x4 he doesn't get out much and when he does its usually under the strictest of supervision due to his mishap and alleged run in with the local vet although I understand the goat and the authorities didn't want to press charges nor the hassle of the publicity. Bless him ginger4x4 Quote Link to comment

+sTeamTraen
The numbering scheme is described here. For rather wonderful arithmetical reasons, each letter after the GC1 (for example, GC1X) corresponds to 29791 caches, and we're about to hit GC1Y200, so there's about 57500 to go. I don't know off-hand how many of those we burn through in a week - 8000 or 10000, maybe? Quote Link to comment
