+MickEMT Posted May 1, 2010 Posted May 1, 2010 I think the idea is a good one, but to keep things reasonable, maybe make it only Available once a month instead.
+russellvt Posted May 1, 2010 Posted May 1, 2010 So, I'd go for a "Once a week" PQ of owned caches with all logs. Just a second button at the bottom where the "My Finds" queue button is currently located. Yes... This. Though, for those that don't want their logs, perhaps there should also be a selectable "Number of Logs" (None, 5, 20, All) or similar (with it defaulted to 0 or 5).

The reason for the owned caches PQ's with all logs is for stat programs. Regular PQ's give 5 logs plus yours. Downloading the gpx from the cache page gives 20 plus yours. Of course on caches you own you typically don't have found logs, except for adopted caches. So it you adopted a cache, or did not start running PQ's on your owned caches right away you have no way of getting all the logs. As for frequency, I would be happy with once a month.
Rhialto Posted May 3, 2010 Author Posted May 3, 2010 Like previously said, there is another method to get our stats up to date but we are still unsure about how well it is welcome by GS. I sure don't abuse it, in the last 3 months I haven't found a single geocache and when I'm not active I don't update my stats at all, not even stats about my hides. A question for GS specialists: would adding those logs with the All Finds PQ would really tax the servers a lot more? Must have been considered if it's still not available.
