Shilo
I'd try this: 1. Contact poptartpc since they placed the coin into the cache and are probably the owner of unpublished cache. 2. Contact erik88l-r, the Georgia reviewer for that area. Hope it works out for you. I'm close and can go rescue your coin if you need me to. Shilo Quote Link to comment
Droo
Gosh derned noobs.... putting out invisible caches and dropping perfectly good coins and TBs in 'em so no one can get to them. Doesn't anyone go to Geocaching University anymore??? Quote Link to comment
The Moop Along
Shilo is indeed correct. You cannot place a coin in an unpublished cache unless: A- You're the cache owner B- You work for Groundspeak and have special rights So jam them up for an answer TMA Edited August 21, 2009 by The Moop Along Quote Link to comment
River Cacher
I am planning on doinmg one of these caches for my personals so i get them off my page but i did not plan on dropping other peoples in there. Some people do this so they do not show up in there inventory so other do NOT see how many coins and tb's they are hanging onto. I have had several of mine end up in caches like this is how i found out about this. It is a cache that has not been approved and only the owner can see it and edit it. It has its positve and negatives to it but i think it is more positve. Quote Link to comment
AtwellFamily
Contacted the person who dropped and indeed the cache is his. He placed the cache in a park that has not approved geocaching. He indicated it should happen in the next few weeks. Crossing fingers. Quote Link to comment
