+runawaybunny
My husband made these in his machine shop for caches. I think they came out great. These are what the front and back look like. They are made of stainless steel, so they shouldn't rust. edit: spelling Edited August 19, 2009 by runawaybunny Quote Link to comment

Here's a quarter for scale. Somehow, that makes them even cooler. These are some of the best sig items I've seen yet. I would actually collect these if I found them in a cache. Quote Link to comment

aniyn
Neato. Very professional looking. Oh ya, you may want to consider clear coating them anyways. It's looks like these are nicely polished, and that's the best way I know of the keep the looking at way! Edited August 19, 2009 by aniyn Quote Link to comment

Carolyn Thank you for the compliment. The material is scrap from his work so there is no cost for that. It took a few hours to design the first one, but after that it only takes like 5 minutes each. +Knight2000
I don't usually care for sig items. Most don't seem interesting to me. Those do look cool! I would snag one of those. Good job! Quote Link to comment

+Boots...
Any way he could put his caching name on them somehow? Thats about the only way I can think of that would make them even better as a sig item. Otherwise, I'd say they are awesome trade items, but not really "sig" items... if that makes sense. Either way, I would be happy to test them in the Northeastern US climate... see if they are heavy enough that the mosquitoes won't carry them away. Quote Link to comment

I just question whether it's a SIGNATURE item, if it doesn't have any sort of signature. If chrisrayn was making them, I could understand it, since that's the symbol he's using in his posts.... PLEASE don't make it sound like I am attacking his work, I think it's really cool, and I would totally want one, but is it a sig? Quote Link to comment

I leave little Blue Devil Duckie pencil toppers. No name or card attached but my locals know it's a sig. Etching a name would be nice but one thing at a time here. I'm sure future releases will vary and I'd love to have a first edition. Edit: Oh, in case anyone was wondering I don't consider purchased pencil toppers 'my own released' sig item. Homemade is usually better. Edited August 19, 2009 by BlueDeuce Quote Link to comment

A unusual or different sig item will be remembered. Folks might not recognize my caching name, but when I mention my sig item they remember that. Jim Quote Link to comment

I leave little Blue Devil Duckie pencil toppers. No name or card attached but my locals know it's a sig. One local geocacher works from some sort of cable company and usb cables or cable splitters as swag. Everyone local (which covers a pretty wide area) recognizes one of those cables/splitters as his signiature item. I've never considered the literal definition of signature swag. Anything the identifies who placed the item in the cache, whether or not it has a team name on it, is, in my book a sig item. I'm closer to Mass. than those in Indiana. Maybe I'll come across one of those cool items some day Quote Link to comment
+swizzle
Those are definately awesome. How would one go about making these into geocoins? Since the smiley and frowny are 2 sides of the same coin, they'll be most appropriate for those DNF's that eventually become a smiley. Quote Link to comment
