RutStrut
So I just sent back the 400i and opted for the 200 that Bass Pro had on sale. Although the 400i was nice, I did not feel the added features were worth the extra cost to me. This is my first experience with a GPS and was really only needing it for locating and refinding waypoints along with some inland lake and driving navigation. I have since uploaded the latest firmware and also loaded free Topo maps from gpsdepotfile and am looking to add a micro SD card to expand the memory for more maps. I am very satisfied with this unit so far and can not wait to use more extensively in the fall. Quote Link to comment
+Walts Hunting
Sounds like a wise decision. I have recommended to friends that they get teh 300 instead of the 400 and put in the maps they want. Especially if they already have the topo maps on their computer. Quote Link to comment
