I don't have the TB no any more, so can't grab it back. Should i just amend the log and say that the TB is not here and where the TB is (its the neighbouring cache - hence the confusion). +Buddies-Buddies Posted August 12, 2009 Share Posted August 12, 2009 Off the top of my head you have 2 options: 1) Return to the cache an retrieve the TB and place it where you indicated it is, or 2) Email the TB owner and tell them of the error and the GC# of the cache that it is actually in... the TB owner can retrieve and move their own TB without trouble because they always have the TB tracking number shown on the TBs homepage (as oppased to the TB reference # that the rest of us see) Hope this helps! I've done the same thing as the OP. In my case, however, the cache was over 2400 miles away. I contacted the owner of the TB, got the tracking number, and fixed things right. Quote Link to comment
