I don't think so, not the "different days" part. Each day sees an increase in active caches of ~470 (this winter) to ~820 (last summer). One day the number of active caches will be less than 1,000,000 and the next day it will be greater. During that day there may be a moment or two where the number bounces up down up, across 1,000,000, but we won't know that....

My prediction for when the active cache count reaches 1,000,000 is February 2, 2010. I did some deductive reasoning to figure this out. I bet you my guess is within a week of the historic date.

No. It was the Myna calender. I keep it on the bottom of the bird cage and predict the future by what dates the bird poops on.

Hey, if I'm wrong I can give you the beer I've had in my fridge for about 4 years.

The day there first was 1,000,000 active caches will be the day BEFORE the count exceeds 1,000,000 (since the count is updated at midnight.)

 

I think that is the day that should be pronounced as the 1,000,000 cache day (not the day this was confirmed by the display exceeding 1 million.)
