UK Map with coloured-in regions

I would like to add a map of the UK to my geocaching profile, showing the different regions where I have found caches. After travelling the length of the UK, I have some new regions to add to my previous version.

I think I managed this a while ago at "itsnotaboutthenumbers.com" but it doesn't seem to be working for me now. Can anyone suggest another way to get a map?

If you shop with www.ukgeocachers.co.uk they will provide you with a UK counties map which you can update yourself. If you scroll right to the bottom of my profile page you can see what it looks like.

itsnotaboutthenumbers still works but the owner doesn't seem to have updated for ages. I personally like the Geocaching Heatmap, though it might not be quite what you're looking for!

GSAK is a very useful programme for sorting caches and the Findstats macro will give you the map and any number of other stats. It is also easy to use.

or use a paper map, some crayons and a scanner - colouring is much more satisfying... though hard to stay between the lines in some of the more twiddly counties...

Thanks for all the suggestions! I have shopped with ukgeocachers so I'll have a go with their map. And I have recently started using GSAK, so I will try Findstatgen too.

My kids are a bit too old for "colouring-in" (maybe I would get peace to do it by myself!) but it would certainly create a unique record.

Make sure your copy of GSAK is upto date.

Download/install the findstatgen macro

Download/install the maps info here for UK

 

When you run the findstatgen you get the option to select which maps you want to show.
