technical problems with Wherigo

Hi I have a oregon 400t with built in Wherigo. I did the tutorial and have been trying to download a new cartridge. My brand new laptop running windows vista can't read the files fron Wherigo and i think it is messing with the transfer over to the oregon.

It is all a bit confusing as the oregon says the file allready exists when ive tried to reload it, but I cant find it anywhere on the oregon....................

Please help as i have been at this for a few hours now!!!!

I suspect your issue is Vista... on the Wherigo forums there are threads devoted to the Vista/Wherigo compatibility issue with workarounds.

I use Vista...

Maybe you need to delete the one you've already downloaded?

Shoild be in a 'Wherigo' folder.

Try downloading it to a USB flash drive, then connect your GPS to the computer, open the Wherigo folder, delete any old version of the cartridge and then drag and drop the new cartridge from the flash drive.

Not sure if this will work, but it may.
