What does "G+" mean ?

I started Geocaching only a few weeks before and now I found a hint which is called "G+".

What does it mean?

Sorry for this stupied question... I think it will have a very simple desription.

I only learned it here a few weeks ago myself. More commonly called the Gx logo.

Not important but personaly I think it is more of a "G+" though I supose it is probably ment to an "X"

Thats probably because the X is not always at the same angle.
