We were on the last day of our annual camping trip yesterday and went for a walk in the woods. Someone was camped in an area closed to camping and we didn't immediately see them or that they had 3 unrestrained large dogs. By the time we noticed this and I started to pick up my Shelties, one of the dogs attacked Briar Rose. Fortunately, a number of things prevented the attack from being as bad as it could have but her stomach, flank, and hip were pretty seriously torn up. She spent the day at the emergency vet clinic and ended up getting around 20 stitches, 2 drains, and has a couple of puncture wounds and major bruising. She's on some pretty potent antibiotics and painkillers but as long as we can keep infection at bay she's going to be okay. But if you get her name please keep in mind that she's going to be laid up for a while and would appreciate treats more than toys.

I'm still researching for my mission recipients and am hoping to get packages mailed to them within the next 2 weeks.

Logan received his mission today!

I'm sorry Logan couldn't pose with his mission, but he's been fighting aspiration pneumonia the last couple of weeks, and I didn't feel it was fair to make him pose (this is an onogoin battle since he was age 2.)

He did manage to scarf down a couple of the "cookies", and even shared with Heineken! The coins were perfect, and the toy awaits a healthier day. The key chain will be hung from the rear view mirror of my RV were Logan can keep an eye on it! It has a little dog dish, a best in show tag, an I love my dog tag, bone, heart of gold, and a mini schnauzer...thanks for a wonderful mission!

I love the wooden Tokens...When you had them made, did they save the cutouts for you? Those would be cool for Micro Caches. You could even have your name engraved on them before they get cut out!
