+aud_world
Ok, so we are new to this sport. We are heading out on vacation in South Dakota and would like some help in locating some good caches. We are looking for scenery, hiking, and dog approved. We will only be out there for a week and want to get the best we can in both worlds. We will be in the Custer area, heading across the border to New Castle, up to Devils Tower in the north and make a loop back down through Sturgis area. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks! Any cache along the Iron Mountain road (Mount Rushmore area all the way over) offers spectacular scenery and a few decent short hikes. Several very nice caches as well. Also several nice caches in the Silver Mountain area Between Rushmore and Rapid City. Best cache near Custer is http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_detai...f6-efbef980920b Quote Link to comment
