TEAM HARTSOCK
Actually my wife has two friends who are traveling to the UK and throughout Europe to do a walk for cancer fund raiser. (I have raised the question why not put the airfare toward the fund raiser and skip the walk, but I just get ignored.) I have a new Breast Cancer Awareness coin that I just got in the mail and would like to send it with them to start somewhere overseas. Now I don't know exactly where they are going to be yet, but when I find out for certain, would it be weird to ask if there are any of you UK cachers who would be willing to meet them somewhere to get the coin and drop it in a cache? It wouldn't be looked at as weird here in the States, but might seem uncomfortable for someone seeing that they are only internet connections. Thanks! Quote Link to comment
Von-Horst
...are any of you UK cachers who would be willing to meet them somewhere to get the coin and drop it in a cache? If they make it as far as South Wales (which is admittedly unlikely ) we'd be delighted to help. Mike & Helen Quote Link to comment

The Bongtwashes
You could always get them to get their own accounts and lend them your GPS But seriously, I'm sure there would be lots of offers. I'm normally available in Central London (Portland Place) or West London (Wood Lane, Shepherds Bush) during the week. Quote Link to comment
Delta68
Perhaps your wife's friends would like to start caching. They'll be kicking themselves if they start later and realise they'd missed out on finding a load of European caches. However, we're close(ish) to Statford-upon-Avon if that's any help Mark Quote Link to comment
purple_pineapple
Central London here (during the week) and happy to help! Not at all weird - happens quite often as far as I know! Of course, depending on dates, you might find that much of the UK cache community has descended on Weston Super Mare for the Mega event! Quote Link to comment
