+Eartha Posted July 4, 2009 Posted July 4, 2009 Everyone is fine, there were no injuries. It was an electrical fire in the basement, the sprinkler system came on and ruined some more electrical equipment. None of the geocaching.com machines were hurt. Everything is back up. Elias cut his vacation short to head back to Seattle, Jeremy was minutes away and back and forth all day. Generators were brought in. As you can see the site is back up and running. We'll all remember this as the "Day the Earth Stood Still". If something is not working yet, don't worry, they're working on it. Give them some time to see what needs fixing. Quote
+Dark Elf Posted July 4, 2009 Posted July 4, 2009 Good to hear that everyone is ok and nobody hurt. Quote

+Sparticus06 Posted July 4, 2009 Posted July 4, 2009 No I wasn't ok....I was scared. Going through withdrawal and had no one here to hold me. I really thought the Earth was standing still. It was quite scary. But I think all is good now.I just hope that never happens again. I am glad all is ok and no one got hurt. Quote

Told family members and friends what I REALLY thought of them! LOL! Now, to read the forums, load caches and send out letters of apology. I'm glad everything and everyone fared well during the blackout. PS.. and I was worried about the bomb North Korea is preparing. Little did I know..... Quote
