+Team McCarthy Posted July 1, 2009 Posted July 1, 2009 Hi there I notice if i go to a specific cache (viewing it from the map page) and I pick on "Send to GPS" it will send everything to my Oregon, description, hints, and some of the Logged visits -Perfect!! When i build a pocket query, open the GPX file using EasyGPS, and send it to my Oregon it will send, the description, the hint, but None of the Logged visits Am i missing something? Any advice is appreciated Quote
+hike4familyfun Posted July 1, 2009 Posted July 1, 2009 (edited) The two methods I use are: 1) GSAK and export to the Garmin Oregon (which won't allow you to upload your field notes) 2) copy / paste your gpx file directly to your garmin thru Explorer. This allows you to upload your field notes after you have cached. Edited July 1, 2009 by hike4familyfun Quote

Any advice is appreciated EasyGPS can't do that. Good news is that you do not need any software at all. Drop the (unzipped) GPX result of a PQ on the [drive]:\garmin\gpx folder on the device while it is hooked to your PC in mass storage mode - unhook and go caching. Quote

Aww that's too bad EasyGPS won't do it, love that little program I have GSAK, and I'm pretty good with computers but for some reason, I just don't get that program Dump the file right into the unit, that so easy! I would have never thought to try it!! Thanks!! Quote
+Team McCarthy Posted July 2, 2009 Author Posted July 2, 2009 ~~Edit~~ That worked just Great Thanks One more question Now when i look at my screen, the caches themselves, aren't labeled. I have to point to them for there names but yet the related parking locations ARE labeled, this seems odd?!? Quote

For some reason I've been unzipping my GPX zip archives and placing the GPX files onto the device. Makes for more clutter. Don't know why I thought I needed to unzip. That's gonna save me some time Quote
