How in the heck do I get all the cashes to show in Google Earth. I had it before but formatted my computer. Now I go to my page and can not find the KLM file to download. Where did the dang thing go or are my old eyes a failing me?

Thanks in advance for any help

They did away with that feature about a month or two ago.... Sorry...

There are only a few lines in the file:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<kml xmlns="http://www.opengis.net/kml/2.2" xmlns:gx="http://www.google.com/kml/ext/2.2" xmlns:kml="http://www.opengis.net/kml/2.2" xmlns:atom="http://www.w3.org/2005/Atom">
<NetworkLink>
<name>Geocaching Network KML</name>
<open>1</open>
<description>Geocaching.com Caches located in the view window of Google Earth.</description>
<Url>
	<href>http://www.geocaching.com/kml/kml.aspx?key=M0SelZzPT3stJ%2fKR3%2fwzDIo%2bb1GUcWq6PJswV4mXMFZ6kaw7p5BC8jdQVR2qiJ2bi%2f6ks08DpCoeUTSbp6aBKA%3d%3d&</href>
	<viewRefreshMode>onStop</viewRefreshMode>
	<viewRefreshTime>3</viewRefreshTime>
</Url>
</NetworkLink>
</kml>

You Could copy the code and past it into a text file and save it as a .kml file somewhere and open it up in Google Earth....... But,, I'm not sure if the site supports the calls from the file anymore..

Thanks for the reply. That is nuts though! I found that feature extremely useful, especially when showing others on forums how many cashes there are in their areas.

Why in the world would they discontinue such a useful feature? That had to be political or financial. It can not be common sense or care for the user.

This sucks

By the way, who is the "THEY" that did away with it? Google or Groundspeak? "They" are sure not looking out for "Us" the user

I always found that feature to be a bit burdensome, although, I would still rather have it instead of it being lost.

As far as showing caches in the area; if you go to a cache at the area you want (such as using the zip code search feature or town look up) then go to the bottom of the page where the larger map is near the end of the cache description and double click on it, a second window will open up that will show you the location of the cache and any around it. To expand that area, simply use the slide to zoom out and you'll see all the caches located in that area to whatever size you make it. Plus a listing of all the visible caches will be along the side to where you can jump right to that cache's page.

I have found this feature much better than when I was using google earth, just my opinion, thought I would share.
