Good Traditional Caches in Newbury/Kingsclere area

I am planning on visiting this area at the weekend and was wondering if anyone could reccomend some good caches in this area. I won't have time for many but would like to hit a few while I am there, so what are the best ones?

Why not do a PQ of the area and filter on cache size? You could then read the cache pages of those selected and decide which take your fancy. The logs should provide some feedback too. This is supposedly one of the benefits of Premium Membership.

The Nature Discovery Centre lakes complex between Newbury and Thatcham has a good number of traditional caches dotted around, with the added bonus of it being a great place to explore and the best coffee and walnut cake I've ever tasted from the cafe!

Thanks for those, it's just the sort of thing I was after. One off and unusual caches, sometimes difficult to tell from cache pages. Keep em coming if you can!

Second vote for these from us. A lovely area with lakes, canal, good caches and a nice cafe and toilets adjacent to the car park.

The Watership Down series offers nice walks and seriously good views over Kingsclere. Part 1 is GCG00Z. Not ones to do if you are after quick cache and dashes though. Pete
