We like to pass coins and TBs forward after logging them in (we are not collectors). Suggestions appreciated. Quote Link to comment
+LadyBee4T Posted June 23, 2009 Share Posted June 23, 2009 If the coin has a tracking number but hasn't been activated it could have been left as swag so it would be yours to do with as you wish. You could get the tracking number and activate it yourself. If that is the case then you should trade up or even for it. The few times I have found coins that weren't activated I put good swag in the next cache if I couldn't go back to the one I found the coin in. If the coin is trackable it should say somewhere "trackable at geocaching.com" Did the coin show up on the cache page? If so maybe when you are trying to log it but have confused one of the digits b & 8 get confused as do 0 & o Sometimes nontrackable coins are left as swag that have a 6 digit number. One of my nontrackables had LB4T07 so it looked like it was trackable but really wasn't. If trackable it needs the words trackable at..... Quote Link to comment
