+Abaddon78
I have an Oregon 400 and so far have had no issues with it or with downloading geocache information. However I've noticed that the additional hints are included with the info when transferred to the Oregon. Is there was to have the hints available on the GPS? Quote Link to comment
NordicMan
Sorry,, what's your question? You say you *get* the hints sent to the Oregon, then ask *how* to get the hints sent to the Oregon?? Quote Link to comment
+admo1972
I think what Abaddon78 meant is that the hints are not transferred to the Oregon. Then answer to that question is that they are. You you first bring up a cache listing on the Oregon, you see the description and logs, but no hints. However, once you hit the "Go", button as if you are going to navigate to that cache, the hints will be available. Go back to the main menu, then click Geocaches, then hints. Quote Link to comment
+Entropy512
Yeah, can't figure out what he's asking. The hints are right there and, for those that don't want to read them, on a separate page from the cache description page. Quote Link to comment

At first, I could not figure out how to get the hints. Then I realized that you had to press "Go", and then "Geocaching" in order to get the menu where you can go to the hints. It's brilliant, really. You get the hints, but they're not spoilers because when you look at the cache description you don't see them right away. Quote Link to comment

While probably a good idea for those who don't use the hints, I bet this is a bit annoying for others. I like how the PN-40 puts the hint at the very bottom of the entire cache page and that you can (back)scroll down with one click if you want the hint, but will not see it accidentally unless you scroll all the way through the cache page! As for the question, seemed fairly straight forward and looks to be answered! Quote Link to comment
