+Spot check
I was done being mad about it's disappearance like, 2 years ago. I never expected to see it again but after 3 years my TB has been logged again! yay! What's the longest your bug has gone missing? Sorry if there is already a topic like this. Quote Link to comment
+steve p
The first TB I ever found was in Nashville, TN, and it had previously been logged two years earlier into a cache near Buffalo, NY. I still check in on that TB occasionally, although sadly it looks like it has been missing for almost a year now. Edit: To clarify, it was not logged into the Nashville cache. It appeared to have been missing for two years since the last log entry in Buffalo. Edited June 17, 2009 by steve p Quote Link to comment

Knight-Errant
While it wasn't our travel bug, we just retrieved one from a cache that has the last travel bug log entry in January 2007--just under 30 months. (No, it wasn't logged as dropped in the cache where we found it.) Our previous record for finding an MIA travel bug was 18 months. Edited July 6, 2009 by Knight-Errant Quote Link to comment
