+coffeeandspiders
I was wondering about this just now, but for smaller caches, it's usually good to keep the log papers in a tiny plastic bag. The only problem is, I've already used all of the ones I have up, and the only time I come across them is when I buy electronics or something of the like. Does anyone know a good store perhaps to get your hands on small 2x3"-ish bags? It rains a lot here, and I'd like to be sure my logs don't get wet. heh Quote Link to comment

Other options would be visiting some of those electronics stores to see if they have any extra bags or maybe home furnishings (the put together yourself type) stores and see if they have the packaging materials for some of their demo products. Or perhaps visiting somewhere that deals in small quantities such as a jewelers (out on a limb here) to see if they have any bags that you could buy. Good luck! Quote Link to comment
+Mredria
I think a good container is better than the tiny bags. Tiny bags inevitably get ripped, punctured, crinkled, put in unsealed, etc. Quote Link to comment
+Pat in Louisiana
I have bought assorted size bags from McMasterCarr.com but I have also bought the very small bags at Winn Dixie's pharmacy near the pill -a-day plastic boxes and I have also seen then at craft stores in the bead section. +Colonial Cats
Also, Wal-Mart usually has them in their crafts section. Quote Link to comment
+Casting Crowns
I was going to suggest any of the "hobby" stores like Michael's or Hobby Lobby. You can get a pack of 100 for less than $4.00 If I remember correctly. I keep some in my caching satchel to help those that place logbooks with no baggie in film cans and the like. I ran all around walmart the other day trying to find some, but they're so small and no one really knew where I should look. hah I'd just like to keep the log dry in case moister were to get into the container some how, extra precaution ya know. +hofy67
eBay has all sorts of bags, if you wanted to go that route. Our local Staples office supply store has about 4 different sizes of these small bags. Quote Link to comment

In general, craft or hobby stores. In specific, Michael's craft stores. Cheap and many sizes. While you're there, pick up a "quilling tool" for winding those nano logs. You'll thank me. ktbean
Dollar store. Usally you can find 50-100 for about 1.00$ in the craft section. Quote Link to comment
+Ockette
Any pharmacy has tiny bags for pills. I got 500 for $2.50 from Rite Aid a while ago. Edited June 3, 2009 by Ockette Quote Link to comment
