spaghettimom
Hello! I'm just got my etrax and want to start geocaching. I spend most of my time in the woods on horseback. Can you geocash by horseback?? Is this popular anywhere?? Thanks! Judy Quote Link to comment
+CMHN
I say as long as the property owner allows horses then go for it. Sounds like a great way to spend time in the woods. Quote Link to comment
+atmospherium
There is a family of geocachers in my local area whose profile page states that one of their goals is to do as many caches on horseback as possible. I know that some local hiking trails allow horses. I've never ridden a horse in my life, but it sure sounds fun. Quote Link to comment
+popokiiti
Friends of mine have done many caches on horseback...just be sure to have a caching name for your mount too! Quote Link to comment
+rabid-chihuahua
I do whenever possible. Unfortunately near me most trails are for hiking and biking only. I want to place some in the woods behind the farm where I ride but I don't think there is any legal parking available for anyone to come in and find them. Quote Link to comment
