HI I like everyone else loves a good sale. I am hoping this thread will be used by others to notify them of sales or clearance items for caching. I see that a lot of people in the other forums talk about sales in the US and nothing here in Canada.

So Can you put up the date and store you saw the special at please

so to start us off I saw a Magellan eXplorist 500 LE on clearance at a Canadian tire for 120 this week

May 14

As a GPS expert I would not recommend this model to anyone.

This is not a reflection on the poster...

1. Given the username, perhaps he stole the 'rating'.

Actually, most people develop expertise through experience... locally I handle a lot of GPS queries from the groups I deal with... Cadets, Geocachers and SAR for some. A few have called me expert, I just really know how to read manuals and implement them... along with years of field navigation. see next item.

2. From a long way back.... "ex" a has been, "spurt" a drip under pressure.

This is the one that really applies to most of us. ;)
