+de Hunters
I've got a problem, my computer does not recognize the eXplorist 500 GPS; so I cannot download the coordinates... every co-ordinate I have to put in manually; how can I solve this problem? Any ideas... thanks anyway, the Hunter Edited May 9, 2009 by de Hunters Quote Link to comment
+EScout
Try one or more of these: Use contact cleaner on a Q-Tip and clean the contacts on the back of the unit. Use alcohol with a cotton cloth. Install the cable running down towards the bottom of the unit. Try plugging the cable into USB with the unit off, then turn it on, then go to Advanced Menu>Communications>File Transfer. Try a different USB port on the front or back of your computer. If none of these work, take out your SD card and transfer your Geocache or POI files directly to their folders on the SD card. Remember, all data is in the form of a file, geocaches, POIs, tracks and routes. Use the GSAK program for Geocaches and POIs. Quote Link to comment
