+The Flying Boots
Suddenly my Greasmonkey has disapeared or rather stopped working. It still shows up as an add on on the Firefox "Tools" and I've searched for updates but the icon has disappeared from the bottom right of the web browser. I've also re-downloaded and installed it but that still hasn't done the trick. Help!! Can anyone advise on what to do. Quote Link to comment

+Bear and Ragged
Have you accidently turned it off? Unhappy little monkey face at the bottom of you browser window? Quote Link to comment
+The Blorenges
Also look at Tools-Greasemonkey. Is there a tick against 'Enabled'? If not it is disabled. The little monkey icon in the bottom right is 'greyed out' when disabled and may be difficult to see. Chris (MrB) Quote Link to comment

+Bill D (wwh)
This may be obvious, but have you tried closing Firefox and restarting your computer? A restart can cure all sorts of little glitches. Quote Link to comment

+The Blorenges
In that case I've no idea I'm afraid. I did check the FF and Greasespot websites out for any help but nothing. Chris (MrB) Quote Link to comment
+searchjaunt
Did a update of FF happen? There were a lot lately. Which other plugin do you have? Did you disable them and tried if GM worked then? Anyway, I would uninstall and reinstall GM again. Quote Link to comment
Master Mariner
Is the "Status Bar" turned on? To check click on "View" and there should be a tick to the left of "Status Bar". If there is no tick then click on "Status Bar" to turn it on. Edited May 10, 2009 by Master Mariner Quote Link to comment
+MartyBartfast
I would be inclined to disable it (tools/addons, find it and disable it); close down Firefox; restart Firefox and enable it; restart Firefox. If that doesn't work then I would uninstall it (Greasemonkey) and reinstall it. Quote Link to comment
