knowschad
I've only done this twice, but there is a fantastic Mexican market near me. They have wonderful carnitas. If you like to snack on beef jerky while caching, try a few chunks of pork carnitas. Yum!!! Quote Link to comment
+Kit Fox
I used to love Clif bars, but they slowed me down when I went hiking. I switched to Wilderness Athlete Energy Gels, and their drink mixes. I also enjoy Apples, Bananas, and the occasional Orange. I try to steer of all the over-salted and over-sugared crap foods that other cachers like. Most of these foods actually slow you down, and make you thirstier. I like to cache in dry mountainous terrain, and the last thing I want to is to blow through my 8 liters of water because of salty, and dried foods. 1 Quote Link to comment
