TillaMurphs
For a while now, we have not been able to download NGS yearly datasheet county archive files from the NOAA site. With a trip coming up, and the pressure of the contest, we REALLY need to get some more county files. - Is this problem happening to others? - Is there any way around it? Here is an example of the error message: SORRY - Currently no data exists for |WA|009|CLALLAM This has happened for every county in Oregon and Washington that the TillaMurphs have tried lately. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. We are having withdrawal symptoms. Thanks, Edited April 30, 2009 by TillaMurphs Quote Link to comment
+NorthWes
I encountered the same issue, with the same angst. A friend reminded me of Holocene's data page, and all was well again. Here's that link: Holocene website with datasheet archives Holocene is awesome! Quote Link to comment
+Black Dog Trackers
It could be that the county yearly archives are discontinued in favor of monthly statewide updates. TillaMurphs message prompted me to look at the state area. Whole states are updated monthly! Then I read this message about it over there. So instead of a county, you get the whole state. (Hmm, I wonder if this change was somehow related to the last 2 lines of this post of mine in January. Nah, probably not. ) Quote Link to comment
TillaMurphs
Thank you Northwes! I really appreciate you showing me that link. The withdrawal symptoms are now fading away. (Hmm, I wonder if this change was somehow related to the last 2 lines of this post of mine in January. Nah, probably not. ) Soooo… BDT is responsible for our anguish. Quote Link to comment
foxtrot_xray
The states have also been updated as of a month ago - the beginning of April. But be careful - NC, SC, and TN have issues with a certain agency name, so most (if not all) datasheet parsers may have issue with them. Quote Link to comment
