You are trying to send map data to your Garmin using the MapInstall app, right? When I had seen that error I believe I had sent a set of maps to the SD card, then outside of the app, I had renamed the map data file and was trying to send a second set of maps. I don't remember if I ever got the situation resolved or not, as that was a GPSr or two ago. I seem to recall that I didn't have the problem using MapSource, but if you are using a Mac (as I suspect you might be) you don't have that as an option. Quote Link to comment
