+FOC friends of Carlotta
I am currently having trouble aquiring satellites, I have even been down to the beach not a building for miles and the sky is clear, well a little mist, had it searching for 15 mins not a peep. I have Garmins GPSmap 60 and a GPS60 both are the same. I couldnt get any on the GPS 60 last sunday and thought it must be bust but today nothing on the GPSmap 60. I have now had it on the window sill which is usually ok for nearlly an hour now and nothing. Any ideas Iv got caches to find Quote Link to comment

+FOC friends of Carlotta
Any ideas Run the webupdater once or twice and then try again. Just tried that a couple of times on both handsets, then once more using another computer, still no joy. many thanks anyway. I am puzzled Quote Link to comment
+FOC friends of Carlotta
Many thank to all, finally got them working. Even though the manual says that you will need to tell the GPSr you are at a new location if you travel 600+ miles between uses, this is what i did. Satellite page - menu-new position. Both units had traveted no more than 15 mile since last used and I have never needed to do this before, even after I had traveled around 600 miles. Could be some happed since the updates. Off out a caching. Quote Link to comment
