Maybe there's a prescription for this

Holy smokes! Just got Premium membership which makes it a LOT easier to see where they all are. There's like 100 within a mile of my house and thousands and thousands within 50 miles.

I feel like I need to find them all!! I am going to have to stop going to spinning, work and swimming, not to mention grocery shopping, cooking and reading anything.

I'm hooked and I'm looking out the window of my office wishing I could leave and go find some caches!!

Welcome aboard!!

I will give you a bit of advice - caching became much more fun the day that I realized that thier really was no reason to find "all of them". Really - seriously, geocaching is a lot more fun when you can learn to walk away from some of them.

No doubt....I'm going to have to!

There is supposed to be a cure. It has been mentioned many times in these forums that running into Vinny when out geocaching will scare the addiction right out of your system. So far we have not heard of any success stories, possibly because the unlucky ones had probably ran off to hide in some remote areas far away from Vinny. Those with weak hearts should not attempt this cure without a paramedic team on standby.

Guess I haven't heard about Vinny. What's his story?

I was going to try and answer this but alas - mere words alone cannot describe him or his posts or the topics he starts. Although good at heart and quite knowledgeable - we do worry about him........see an example post above.

Oh my, I'm seeing what everybody else saw in me when I got hooked.

I will tell you that I have been dadgum close to being served with divorce papers over Geocaching. Infact I'm not even allowed to say the "G" word around her...or the kids!!

One time she told me that it was either her or Geocaching...after some thought I told her that I loved her...and that i'd miss her.

Life has been great ever since! :D
