Local Monthly/Regular Events Reminder

Recommended Posts

Too many times I've nearly missed a local event because I'd forgotten about it. If they popped up on the forum a few days ahead I thought that would really help. So...

Bucks/Beds/Herts Border-ing on the Ridiculous #15 - This coming Thursday, April 23rd 2009 -St George's Day!- from 6.30pm 'til 11pm at The Red Lion, near the canal, Vicarage Road, Marsworth, Herts HP23 4LU Tel. 01296 668366.

I think 'special' events, such as Megas, boat trips and the like still deserve their own threads, as people tend to want to comment. This thread is intended just to provide a quick and easy reminder for those who don't check up-coming events here (click Seek>) or get/read their email notifications.

Not exactly a 'bump'... more a gentle nudge. BBHR #16 is on next Wednesday, the 13th.

As is the Oxfordshire meet Down my way!, sadly we won't be able to make either as we will have moved to Bristol, just :) .

OK, which one of you shouted shouted hooray then :P

Everybody!!!!

Their loss is our gain (apparently - unless you DO bring a bag'o'nanos with you) :)

GC2FVP4 - England's Oldest Live Cache 10th Anniversary/BBH37 is on tonight - Friday the 14th of January - to celebrate ten years of England's oldest existing cache (and the UK's 2nd oldest). There will be a new cache unveiled on the hill to mark the event, as well as torchlight procession from pub to hilltop, glosticks, fireworks, Chinese fire lanterns... Come join the party! :D

(Just thought I'd resuscitate this thread.)

In two weeks... "Stop the Clocks" Princetown, Devon, 22nd October.

Be there or be... well... somewhere else.

I usually check icache, but seems the website has had another rebranding recently. Interestingly it appears that the webrat has created an Android phone app for events - something I know I will find very useful. Linky here

Edited to add the app wont download to my phone. Maybe others will have more luck
