Trivia for the day

Recommended Posts

Posted (edited)

A GPS satellite sends data in frames of 1500 bits that take 30 seconds to send -- 50 bits per second.

The total amount of data received by your handheld GPS in a normal day of caching is less than the amount of text on many of the cache description pages on the Geocaching.com web site.
