+thefoods
I tried twice to get 2 different pocket queries tonight. Both were sent to me as application_zip.dat instead of gpx but the email says the file sent was 2857121.gpx. Is this going to continue - I hate entering them manually. Your Operating System: Windows Vista Your Browser with Version number: IE 7.0.6001.18000 I have the emails that were sent to me along with the attachments if you need to see them. Thanks. +Cache O'Plenty
Some virus software programs may not like the .gpx extension. Try having them sent as .zip files instead. Does that work? Link to comment
+BenGeo'en
I too have tried twice tonite and both times they were sent as App Files. I even tried to different route queries. I have been downloading them daily and nothing on my end change. Any Help??? Link to comment
Keystone
My three regularly scheduled queries today all came through as "application_zip." They were sent to my GMail address and I've made no changes to my system recently. The queries scheduled for yesterday arrived normally; i.e., with the customary unique filenames. +sheppardnik
Same problem here, getting application.zip in my inbox... GAH!! I'm going on a trip tomorrow and will now be caching "blind" if I can't get these into GSAK! Anyone have any suggestions or work-arounds? I've made no changes to my system, nothing shows up on any of my virus software, when I ran PQs last week everything was fine. I'm leaving in six hours - HELP!!! Link to comment
+Raine
It seems to be an issue with how the file name was embedded. You can just save the file locally and rename it to anything.zip and it will work just like normal. Link to comment
+Cache O'Plenty
All four PQs I received today (between 6:30 and 7:00 pm) all came in normally. All were "<file number>.zip. No problems here. Link to comment
+thefoods
Must have been the site because this morning I sent the same request and it came fine. Thanks to all who replied! Link to comment
Keystone
Yes, back to normal here as well. For yesterday's funky PQ's, just rename the odd files to .zip like Raine says, and they will work just fine. Link to comment
AZcachemeister
I got a few, and one or two still coming today. I changed/renamed nothing, and GSAK opened them with no problem. Link to comment
