Ammo Cans - Wanted - In the greater Seattle area

I've called a few army surplus stores in the area looking for 30 cal. ammo can and the price was around $8 - $10. Is there a better/cheaper place to get them?

If the two local Suppliers are out...they'll be here soon to let you know...I've got 8-10 in my garage from the last group buy that I'm not going to need anytime soon.

 

I think they were $4-$5 a piece for them...and I'll let them go at cost.

I am not from that area but gun shows usually have them. They are a lot less than surplus stores too. I bought mine for less than a lock-n-lock cost.

There's a scrap metals place up Hwy 169 just past the intersection with the Cedar Grove Road toward Maple Valley that is selling them. I'm not sure how much they are selling for, though.

I went through 1350 of the things in less than 5 months. I've been able to bid on more, but the prices have gone up. $5/$6 will probably be the price for 30's and $7/$8 on the 50's. And thats if any come up for auction. There was an auction for 3800-50's but I didnt have $14,000 in my piggy bank so I passed on them.

I have half a dozen 30s that I would be willing to sell at whatever the going rate is. Not trying to compete with anyone but it will be a while before I will manage to make use of them. These are from a prior BN&Z purchase and are in excellent condition.
