+aintnorock
I have an older Garmin eTrex Legend that I got about 4 years ago. I have a serial cable for it, but my new computer has no serial port, so I need a USB cable. Anybody have one or know where to get one? Quote Link to comment

I solved it by purchasing a serial to USB converter off eBay. From one of those Hong Kong places. So inexpensive that I purchased two of them. Works just fine. Don't pay more than about four or five bucks, shipping extra. Quote Link to comment
SPIIIGuy
at least on my gpsmap 60 it uses a standard mini-usb connector http://images.google.com/images?hl=en&...sa=N&tab=wi most computer stores sell these. they are also sometimes included with: cellphones, usb card readers, digital cameras. like the previous poster mentioned, should ideally be $5 or less, I have 3 of them from all the tech junk I've bought Quote Link to comment
