Rockin Roddy
Asked a few days ago as to what I did to get WAAS and good accuracy, my reply was nothing! I updated to the beta and was slow to see WAAS, but I see it daily now, it locks on and is not lost until I enter my house or shut the unit off! I can only speculate as to why this is, but I think I recall someone saying the memory would gather info and thn stabilize the WAAS reception?? How about others, seeing WAAS more these days, and if so, what did you do? I turned my unit on and left it on almost daily for a few dys to weeks, the result is blue birds and bars!! +Pax42
Same story here.. After the 2.5 update I began seeing WAAS gradually kick in after the unit had been on an hour. After a couple weeks WAAS began locking on quickly and consistently. No WAAS complaints from me. Quote Link to comment

Ditto, even got the blue bars yesterday in my 'bonus' room (second floor above the garage; bare roof above) for most of the sats! Quote Link to comment
TotemLake
When I pay attention to it, I find WAAS is on. The accuracy is such I don't even worry about it as much as I would have with the MeriPlat. Quote Link to comment
Team CowboyPapa
To stay on topic, yes, my ORANGE has plenty much BLUE after the most recent update. Edited April 1, 2009 by Team CowboyPapa Quote Link to comment
Jeff in Pa
Same here, I now see WAAS on both of our units. Somedays though we don't get it without letting them set on the dashboard while we are traveling to the next cache. Like Totemlake said the accuracy is still very good so I don't really care much. +bluemustangpride
Mine jumps to blue almost instantly, and again, the accuracy reading is so good that I seldom check after that. I have been thoroughly satisfied with that. Quote Link to comment
embra
There have been some still not seeing much WAAS activity on their screens. But I count myself in the majority who have been seeing frequent WAAS lock when out and about--definitely more than with the 2.4 firmware. Quote Link to comment
Rockin Roddy
I am likt Totem Lake as well, I rarely even bother to check anymore, but I do flip through my screens on occasion and notice the lock. My accuracy is such that I often have a +/-5', gotta love that! Quote Link to comment
OpenTrackRacer
I was off-roading last weekend and I noticed a screen full of blue bars. Very nice. Quote Link to comment
KidRipley
I can only find 2.4 to download where is 2.5 update? Quote Link to comment
KidRipley
OOOOooooH I got it I forgot to log into the DeLorme forum. (a duh) LOL Quote Link to comment
stigloc
My 40 also gets a screen full of the blues. As stated previously, accuracy is +/- 10' or better without WAAS. With WAAS, I've seen accuracy of +/- 5'. Could not be happier. Quote Link to comment
