Garmin Oregon or Colorado

Recommended Posts

Hi there

I've got a Vista Cx and I'm looking to upgrade to a Oregon or Colorado.

I guessing I'll get much better accuracy, yes?

I'd be able to load up my Topo maps that I've already bought, correct?

The big question.... Is the Oregon worth the extra money??

Any help would be appreciated

Thanks

I had the Colorado and called Garmin 400t when the Oregon 400t came out. They told me there was basically no difference and to keep my Coloado 400t until it wore out. Straight from the horse's mouth...

I messed with a Colorado in the store and was annoyed by the rock n roller thing. I have now had the Oregon 300 for about a month and have been pleased with it. I love the touchscreen and it is much easier for my 8 year old to use over the eTrex. I have also been pleased with the rollouts and features put out with each new firmware. My vote, Oregon.
