+Middleleaze Moles
This geocaching is great fun and we have taken to it very well! Trouble is, the weekend is too short to fit in that and the housework!!! Any ideas???? Quote Link to comment
+keehotee
This geocaching is great fun and we have taken to it very well! Trouble is, the weekend is too short to fit in that and the housework!!! Any ideas???? Just leave it. Eventually everything will sort itself into discrete little piles, and once you've had to step over them for a week or so you'll get used to it... Quote Link to comment

Trouble is, the weekend is too short to fit in that and the housework!!! Any ideas???? Spend all weekend caching. You don't see what needs doing back at home! (And return in the dark and don't turn the lights on. What you can't see...) Edited March 30, 2009 by Bear and Ragged Quote Link to comment

+Bill D (wwh)
As keehotee said, just leave it! I do...! Someone once said that the dust doesn't get any thicker after the first three years, and believe me, it's true...! Quote Link to comment
Chudley Cannons
after four years the dust doesn't get any worse. Quote Link to comment
+Mad H@ter
As said above, just leave it. If it does get too bad then move home, that's what we are doing Quote Link to comment

Trouble is, the weekend is too short to fit in that and the housework!!! Any ideas???? When you find the answer let us know - I'm supposed to be doing the housework today, but instead I've done cache maintenance this morning and am now planning the next caching trip. +kennamatic
Remember to make a note where you've left things, then, in 4 years time when everything is buried in dust, you can "hunt" for them and 'cache within the comfort of your own home! Quote Link to comment
+Water-Rats
Housework!! Life is too short for housework for heavens sake. We just do a bit every evening after work and then go out to play whether thats with the dogs, caching, out on our skates or bikes et al. Housework PAH!! Thats for when it rains! +HazelS
I came up with the best solution.... Every night when I get home from work, before I do ANYTHING, I do 20 mins of housework - change a bed, put some washing on, hoover a room etc... Come the weekend, my house just needs a quick little flit around and that's it... off I go out caching - and even if there's no caching on the cards, it's nice to have a clean, tidy house so that you can justify time shopping, having lunch out etc etc etc!! Soon there will be camping events to waste your whole weekend on too!!! Bingo! Quote Link to comment
+mickyz
I work evening/nights and as I have most of the day for HW OH expects some of it to be done . But is always complaining that the same pan has been in the sink for days. Can't think of a reason why  Monday is the day for doing the washing Tuesday is the day for doing the drying Wednesday is the day for doing the ironing Thursday is the day for doing the hoovering Friday is the day to do the weeks chores as I have been caching all week. +Gushoneybun
Best solution is not to do the DIY either, eventually the house will fall down and the hoovering will be the least of your worries Saying that I have a feeling if I do not get the patio laid this year it may be me or worse the GPS buried in the back garden. +Middleleaze Moles
Thanks for all the suggestions - wish I could be as organised as Hazel!!! By the time I drive 60 miles home, go to the gym then get home it's too late to do anything except cook dinner! So the weekends were essential....... Ah well - managed to get someone to do the ironing this week so it's not all bad!!! Quote Link to comment
+Kacher The Dog
When I win the lottery, I will give up work & go out caching.................. everyday.....all day. I'll be out of the house so much, that the hired help won't have much housework to do anyway. Aren't I considerate?! Quote Link to comment
