Oregon 400t Geocaching / Nav. Question

Hello All,

I have a quick question. When I'm geocaching, and I want turn by turn navigation, I turn on the automotive mode on my Oregon. When I get to the destination, the ground zero is the closest spot that road can take me to. At this point, I have to switch over to "geocaching" mode to be able to locate the cache.

Is there a way around this? I get tired of switch the profiles when I am city caching.

Thanks!

If you want to use turn navigation, then that is the correct way to do it. Once you get to the "parking" switch to geocaching profile.

I have created an additional profile called urban caching. It has City Navigator maps but turn by turn routing turned off.

Usually I just switch profiles (its only a couple of a key presses right?) because there are a number of settings I want to change between a hiking profile and an automotive profile. However if you just want to route off-road goto WhereTo?>Recalcuate Off Road and you'll get a straight line to the geocache.
