Cachers in Yamagata

Are there any geocachers in or around Yamagata?

I want to place some caches in Tendo and am looking for a cacher to help me look after the caches.

Hello Mike.

 

We are tuck&green live in Akita prefecture located in the north of Yamagata prefecture.

There is only one cache in Yamagata. A cacher of Niigata prefecture hid it.

We think that perhaps cacher is not in Yamagata.

The place where we live in is slightly far from Tendo, but we may be able to give you a help.

Thank-you for your offer. I was hoping to place the cache befor the shogi festival starts here in Tendo but I haven't had time.

 

My mother - in - law lives in Tendo but she is too old to maintain the cache so I may have to give up at this time.

 

is Geocaching not very popular in Japan? there is so much beautiful countryside around here that I thought many people would do this sort of thing. Ah well, if my family and I come back to live in Japan I will make some caches.

They say that there are about 3000 Geo cachers and 2000 caches in Japan.

Unfortunately there are not many cachers and caches in the countryside.

However, we think that cachers and caches will increase little by little.

We hope that caches and cachers increase by the shogi festival held next year.
