Since our family expansion this winter, I haven't had the chance to visit this forum... I do miss it, I still like beautiful geocoins, both as keepers and out traveling... BUT it will receive less attention from me.

 

This means that many geocoins from my KEEPER list may be available. There are some gems there, which should perhaps go on ebay, but I'd prefer to sell to forum members.

I am limiting the scope of my geocoin collection, and I may be selling some old, sought-after geocoins. Is anyone aware of any selling-restrictions on the following? Is it eventually more polite to sell through this forum than at an auction house...? Tranquility, Compass Rose Yemon Yime edition, Caleidoscope, Circle of Four, Birka.

I am selling many of my geocoins as I have no choice and have alot of medical and hospital bills hanging over my head. Not that I want to, I am very sadden to part with them. If anyone in interested in any geocoins please feel free to ask. Some that were gifted to me or mystery geocoins I will not ever part with. Please understand. Looking to Trade!

 

Years ago I made a bunch of Geoswag custom tokens. Most averaged in size of 2 inches x 1.5 inches or were round 1.5 - 2 inch circles. All my tokens are cast from plaster of paris and sealed for painting, They are then hand painted. I did leave some of these in local geo caches as special swag item.

 

Having always wanted some geocoins, but not having the ability at the time to pay to have the minimum amount made, I offered up my swag tokens in lue of a coin swap. I allowed the person willing to swap to make an offer of how many of my tokens was worth one of their coins if they are willing to trade.

 

I would like to offer this again to any one who is interested. I will attempt to place available token images in here now. Usually most seemed to be happy with a trade of 2 - 3 tokens for a coin. I always received excellent feedback on the quality of my hand made item.

Good evening folks,

 

I'd have liked my first post to be an intro somewhere on the forum, but I didn't see a section for those. As such, the first one is here.

 

I am new to the hobby, and I've started to look at geocoins. I'm going to start slow, but there is one coin I would like to get my hands on. I am looking for a Crystal Compass Rose in any color, and I'd like it to be unactivated if possible, but if I understand correctly, adoption might work as well.

 

I've looked all over the 'net, and I'm somewhat thinking this is a pretty difficult coin to obtain. Am I correct? Also, what might I expect the price range to be for one that's not activated versus one that has been?

 

If anyone is willing to part with one or know where I might be able to find one, please let me know. Thank you and regards.
