As I stated in the past, I'm willing to sell any coin I have listed for whatever its' current list price is. I tried to list coins at prices that were sold on ebay. I'm not looking to rip anyone off. About the shipping charge-

$2 is the bare bones price to ship a coin. You quote that $.87 as if it's a mantra. That only covers the postage. You still have to buy the padded mailer! Everyone ( you included) that has bought or traded coins from me knows the price of the mailers as it is printed on the back: $1.29 from the USPS. I'm really taking a loss on the shipping by a few cents. I figured I'd offer all of coins back to the coin collecting community rather than placing them on e-bay. Everyone seems to hate the people that put coins there, so I figured I'd let you all get them first.

 

Or you buy your mailers from someplace other than the post office... even e-bay offers 100 #0 (6x10) padded mailers for around $20 including the shipping! so that is 20 cents per mailer.

Staples, other office supply stores, and probably even your local hardware store sell them for less than 50 cents a piece. then drop your shipping to a more acceptable $1.50

 

That is why you are getting complaints about $2 shipping.

 

I'm not complaning about your pricing or shipping charges, I'm just offering you the explaination, as most of the coin traders and sellers here do NOT buy their mailers from the post office because it costs too much.

 

I have to agree with NSLP here. I don't think the coins aren't priced too high for the most part. I wouldn't even complain about the $2 shipping charge because it cost more that actual "postage costs" to mail a coin. But you could do better for yourself in terms of the cost of the mailers. You've got 37 coins for sale, and if you sell them all to different individuals, you are spending almost $50 on mailers! At the place I buy from, you can buy 50 poly mailers for $9.49 plus shipping, and it has never taken more than 3 days to get them.

So you want to spend $50 or $10 - up to you.

Although I do not agree with some of the prices on the coins we have to remember HE is the owner of said coins and can determine whatever price he wishes on these coins. This is where people either say yea I will buy it or no I will wait for a better deal. The price some people want for a Federation gold I think is too steep, but I do not chastize them for it I just move on and wait for a better deal. I am stepping off of my soap box now :laughing: oh and by the way I am looking for a MAGIC 8 BALL anyone have any extras??? :laughing:

I also am willing to sell them separately (orange green and blue) for $11 plus some shipping charge probably around $.75 or less (I have to find out how much they weigh first) All three together will probably be about $32 plus an appropriate shipping charge (less than $2). Interested parties can contact me via profile or pm. Keep in mind I don't have these yet and it will be a few days before I do.

 

Also I will be getting the Astrolabe set (Silver and Bronze) unactiavted and I will sell those for around $17 plus an appropriate shipping charge If interested contact me via Pm or Email. Also it will be a few days before these are in.

Never seen a trackable on GC.com Washington coin. 2004 and 2005 are trackable at www.geocachingwa.org

Thanks to all who reserved the Geocredit card coins from me. But keep in mind I still have the astrolabe coins tha can be reserved. I would like $17 for the set (bronze & silver) or $9 apiece shipping will be appropriate to the wieght of the coin but probably close to $.87 for one (if its over 2 oz) and a higher for both.
