GEOCOIN TRADING, WANTS, OFFERS AND LISTS

sigitem4.jpg

Hi all, as it seems my sig items have well received (got a good few trades for them, thanks guys) I have decided to get my sketch book out again and work a new set. I will be expanding on the traditional geocaching symbols theme. The first one is in the above photo. Not sure which symbols to include yet other than traditonal, multi and mystery.......open to suggestions :)

They will be available to trade. They can be personalized either with a Caching handle or an Event name and date. Actually as long as the writing fits on the back I can put whatever you would like :)

Comments welcome

I'd love to trade for one of these!! PM me please :)

Email sent :)

Looking to purchase (2) Unactived New Jersey Geocoins; contact me with quantity & price if you have them; Will but separately if you only have one.

Also looking to purchase the EMGT Monopoly Geocoin (Unactivated); contact me with finish & price if you have one.

For anyone interested there is now a "LUPUS Awareness Geocoin" (First one of its kind); I was diagnosed with LUPUS over 5 years ago & designed a coin when I couldn't find one. Each coin sold helps the fight against LUPUS. If interested contact me for the design picture & web link to mint where it is being sold. Due to forum rules I cannot post the link here. This coin is currently available in limited quantities.

Thanks,

I am interested in trading for the following coins: Nazca Spider and Nazca Condor.

I have no preference on color or metal, as I have no idea how many versions of each were created!

I found some pictures from activated coins, if it helps:

8474f7b3-12c9-4439-b435-557a6cb12232.jpga087ea33-a7c0-4609-8aa3-fc62977963bf.jpg

First I've heard of them. Who made/sold them?

CF30

that's what I'd like to know! I can't find anything here in the forums about them. There are several activated ones on gc.com, which makes me think they're older. Unfortunately, none of the activated coins' pages says anything about who minted them, how many versions there were, etc. It's moments like these that I don't like the untrackable history associated with these shiny trackable items!

I bought in eBay one of each for my collection, last year, and according to the data that I have:

Nazca Lines Condor:

Five editions LE (50 each): Antique Silver & Red, Polished Nickel & Blue, Polished Nickel & Red/Orange, Antique Bronze, Antique Bronze & Turqoise.

Label by landsharkz.ca

Nazca Spider:

I've seen four editions LE (40 each): Shiny Gold & Purple, Nickel & Blue, Nickel & Green, Nickel & Black.

Labeled by montereycoins.com

I think both coins are from 2010 :)

About 5 years ago I was diagnosed with the autoimmune disease known as LUPUS. After I became hooked on Geocaching; I wanted to purchase a LUPUS Awareness Geocoin to send out to help raise the awareness of this awful disease which many people do not know about. Since I was unable to find such a coin in existence I designed my own coin & submitted it to CH Quality Coins who funded & minted this coin. The coin sells for $9.50 & $2.00 from every coin sold will be donated to the "LUPUS Foundation of America" to help aid the fight against LUPUS. This coin is Trackable @ Geocaching.com & will have a Personalized Icon.

If interested in owning one of these beautiful Geocoins which will help spread the awareness of this awful disease & help aid the fight against LUPUS simply through the purchase of this coin; please get your today. This coin is currently available in limited quantities. LUPUS Awareness Geocoin Info & Purchase Link

Please do not use the trading thread for sales. Your coin is trackable on geocaching.com, so you are permitted to open a thread just for it, but leave this thread for trades, please and thank you. I would split it off for you, but if I do that it only lists the OP as "Guest".

Question from a super new newbie, in fact, just ordered my first ever few geocoins today. Can anyone tell me if (or how) it is possible to locate specific topics related coins for purchase? I mean can I assume there exists a geocoin for a specific state, city, animal, hobby, whatever, that I want to get? Or is that why everyone starts trading?

Link to comment

just to get an idea of what's out there, try looking at some of the collections on www.cointracking.com (that's the one that I use,) or any of the other similar geocoin collecting sites (anyone...are there still any others out there?) a link to my collection can be found at the bottom of this post.

I posted a list of dog themed geocoins a few months ago, and have some new additions to add to it, so look for an update sometime this month

At the recent Midwest Geobash I bid on a Geocoinfucius coin in the silent auction and won it. I wanted to add it to the coins I have for my Layla Vet Bill fund. I would like to trade it for coins that I can sell on ebay for this fund. Send me your trade offers. Thanks.

Trade made. Thanks for the offers!
