+speedbump2
We us a Garmin Legend CX and it seems everytime we set up new caches our finders say our coordinates are off sometimes up to 50-60ft! Also when we ourselfs go caching we find them but they are most always off on the feet as well. Do we have our gps not set up right? Can anybody help us with this? We read on this someplace to change the map datum. Any help would be much appreciated Thanks Quote Link to comment

Not having your unit on WGS-84 can cause large errors. Jim Quote Link to comment
+StarBrand
WGS84 for the datum and decimal degrees for the format. Download the caches into the unit from the website to make certain they are keyed in properly. Quote Link to comment

dirtfiend
Should WGS84 only be used for caching? What about for everything else? Should NAD be used for mapping/exploring? Quote Link to comment
+Kryten
If you are going to use the GPS with a printed paper map the GPS must be set to the same datum as the map. Quote Link to comment
