EvanderGoodman Posted March 2, 2009 Posted March 2, 2009 I received an Earthmate PN-40 this past Christmas and it came with a free 30-day premium membership to Geocaching.com, so I decided I'd upgrade my membership for a month. I took full advantage of its features and downloaded .gpx files of every cache within a 13-mile radius of my place of residence. My premium membership has since expired and now it appears that some of those caches that I had downloaded I can no longer see on the site. I discovered this while attempting to log a recent find. Is there some workaround to where I can log this and any other "premium-only" caches I may find without having to fork over cash to upgrade my membership? I may purchase a premium membership in the future, but for now this is just a severe annoyance. Is it possible to email the cache owner and have them log the find for me or open it up so that I can?
+pppingme Posted March 2, 2009 Posted March 2, 2009 If your using the field notes feature of this unit you can still log them, upload your field notes (see link on right hand side of your my page), you just won't be able to view the cache.

+Isonzo Karst Posted March 2, 2009 Posted March 2, 2009 It looks as if the workaround for basic members has been restored http://www.geocaching.com/seek/log.aspx?wp=GCxxxx this will take you to the log page of any cache
