geocacherscott Posted February 27, 2009 Posted February 27, 2009 Hi Guys I have a caching Landmark coming up (2000) and want to do a special cache to bring it up. I am Gloucestershire based but cache every weekend somewhere different and to be honest most places are pretty easy to get to so all suggestions welcome. Thanks Scott Quote
Malpas Wanderer Posted February 27, 2009 Posted February 27, 2009 I quite enjoyed the two parter I found for my 1100th GCY4HA and actually preferred part one over part two. Quote
adsandco Posted February 28, 2009 Posted February 28, 2009 GCKZ29 Your Mission... near Stevenage, is an absolute belter which was our 500th, which we'll never forget. You'd need a few full days to complete it, some transport and probably some other stuff including a sense of humour... Quote
The Blorenges Posted February 28, 2009 Posted February 28, 2009 You might like to browse through Birdman-of-Liskatraz's list of Bookmarked caches. A lot have cachers selected their own personal favourites, or caches with particular themes. Birdman-of-Liskatraz's list of Bookmarked Caches. MrsB Quote
Cache U Nutter Posted March 1, 2009 Posted March 1, 2009 Hi Guys I have a caching Landmark coming up (2000) and want to do a special cache to bring it up. I am Gloucestershire based but cache every weekend somewhere different and to be honest most places are pretty easy to get to so all suggestions welcome. Thanks Scott What are your preferences? Puzzles/ physical caches/ difficult terrain/ Multi caches ? I think you will find that the Box Hill area of Surrey [near Dorking] has all of these on offer in some of the prettiest areas of the country to boot ! Have A GREAT TIME !! Quote
Yorkie30 Posted March 2, 2009 Posted March 2, 2009 The best cache I have completed so far is down at Milford on Sea in Hampshire on the south coast. Its called "Pips patch and a naughty Monkey" GCZ832 and the reward at the end is well worth the walk. Also the SNOW WHITE and the SEVEN DWARFS series at Box Hill is a great walk with stunning views. GoodLuck. Quote
Simply Paul Posted March 3, 2009 Posted March 3, 2009 Your Havin` a Laugh! (Northants) by Messe (GCR6N9) would be well worth a look. Have fun Quote
