sunglasstan
Is there anyone out there who could help me set up my MAC to readily communicate with my Garmin eTrex Vista CX gps unit? I have vistied the Garmin site and downloaded the Garmin communicator plug in for Mac and still am unable to download cache waypoints/locations to my GPS. Any suggestions or tips would be great as I am new to this. Thank you Quote Link to comment
cartopper
I do not have a Mac or run Vista. Some of the more dumb things to look for; Is the unit turned on? Is the port enabled? Are you using a USB cable to connect with? Did you install the drivers for the cable? I did not know my cable came with a CD with drivers, sure did work a lot better afterward! LOL You can ask garmin for help by phone. They have a great support staff that are more than willing to help you with your problems.
